What is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and fast.

Deep Tissue Laser Therapy utilises your body’s own healing powers by stimulating cellular activity.

Despite fast treatment times, the results are long lasting and the laser will continue to reduce inflammation and encourage healing long after the initial treatment.

I use the LightForce laser Pro, which is is the preferred brand of professional athletic trainers and is a clinically proven modality. LiteCure Medical is the leader in scientific research and education.

How long are treatments?

Deep Tissue Laser Therapy treatments are administered in 5 to 10 minutes bursts. The treatment duration will be dependant on your injury and you can expect to see results after 3 to 5 treatment sessions. During your consultation we will discuss a treatment plan that is appropriate for your injury.

How is laser therapy administered?

Depending on the condition being treated your therapy may be administered through either a contact or non-contact hand piece.

The contact hand piece is designed to allow the practitioner to physically manipulate the tissue while administering the treatment, resulting in a laser-massage treatment.

This allows for light to penetrate deeper into tissues than the non-contact hand piece due to it’s ability to displace tissue through a laser-massage technique.
